Recently moved my mare here. With the demands of my job and family anything less than full livery... was not going to give me the opportunity to ride everyday. Time is the one thing you can’t get back and Helena offers exceptional care everyday leaving me with the time to devote to riding out or using the excellent facilities. With superb off road and local hacking routes I’ve been able to get out and about more in the last 3 months than the last 3 years! All the liveries are friendly and welcoming, most have been here for more than a decade which is testament to the excellent care and personal attention that Helena offers, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this yard.read more

I have recently moved my highly sensitive Thoroughbred here and Tango has settled amazingly and... Helena's extensive experience and care has made that happen. With the demands of working full time and trying to find the balance of keeping family life happy whilst investing time into riding - I am now able to do that. Moving him to Stonehouse has enabled me to buy time and find that happy balance. You dont fully appreciate what time is until you need it. I'm now happy, my family is happy and of course - the orange one ❤ I wished I'd have done this sooner. Let's not forget the facilities are excellent and everyone is really friendly. Stonehouse is by far the best livery yard I have ever been on I had my three horses here and sadly... had to leave due to my relocation. While I was at stonehouse I was very poorly and sometimes unable to get to my horses but I never worried for a second they had 10 🌟 care all the time we made the decision to move to full livery as it wasn’t much more money for full livery and we got access to amazing facilities and lovely stables for our ponies !! Helena who owns and runs the yard is one amazing lady she found my horse had thrown a shoe one morning I was supposed to be riding in the afternoon when I arrived the farrier had already been and put her shoe back on !! There’s no better place to be if your considering moving to a full livery yard this is the place !! I got quality time with my horses and made amazing memories on this yard instead of spending all my time mucking out ect !! Thanks again for everything!! Can’t recommend this place enough and if I’m ever located nearby would 100 percent go back in a heart beat.read more
